An exciting moment in the preparation of the Local Place Plan for Cove and Kilcreggan - bringing together everything we’ve done so far! For many months now, we the Our Community team have been asking you for your thoughts on how to improve the villages we live in through surveys, workshops & consultations.
In response to initial consultations, we created nine community groups in Heritage, Arts, Business, Sport, Green Issues, Footpaths, Energy & Housing, Clearwater and Kilcreggan Village. Each group has been working tirelessly on their concerns, ideas and plans for the villages.
We now know what you want, but how do we fit it all together and where?
The next step is to consolidate all this work into a set of agreed proposals that will form the basis of our Local Place Plan.
Join us in an interactive hands-on process to decide What Goes Where?
There are two ways of participating – either anonymously online or in-person at Cove Burgh Hall.
The online geolocated survey allows you to contribute your ideas and aspirations for Cove and Kilcreggan, Coulport, Peaton and Portkil anonymously and will help us all to decide What Goes Where? Please provide your ideas by participating in the Online Geosurvey below. Independent assistance will be available in Kilcreggan Post Office and Cove Burgh Hall for those who require it, for details see Cove and Kilcreggan Community Website
This event will gather all the ideas as well as all the existing work that’s been done to date and includes 2 online briefing sessions:
The more people that get involved, the more representative it is of our fantastic community. This is a unique opportunity for you to help decide where everything goes.
Come and join us to help create a more attractive and sustainable place to live and work!
